  The Lake County Redevelopment Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, November 19th, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. (local time) at 2293 N. Main St. Crown Point, IN 46307 in the Commissioner’s Courtroom regarding the I-65 and SR 2 Interchange Economic Development Area.

  FY25 Consolidated Plan Annual Performance Report notice

  Lake County Community Economic Development Department recently completed its FY25 Consolidated Plan Annual Performance Report (CAPER). The report contains information concerning the activities undertaken by Lake County, outside of Gary, Hammond and East Chicago, to provide housing and other assistance to low- and moderate-income persons and households during the period of 9/01/25 to 8/31/26.

  Public Notice: Lake County Redevelopment Commission Meeting — August 27, 2026

  The Lake County Redevelopment Commission (LCRDC) will be holding a Public Meeting on Thursday, August 27th, 2026 at 10:00 AM CST in the County Council Large Conference Room, 3rd Floor, Building A of the Lake County Government Center, 2293 North Main Street, Crown Point, Indiana, 46307. The meeting is open to the public.

  NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY AND PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD

  June 16, 2026

  Lake County is required to submit an Annual Action Plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in order to receive funds from the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG), HOME Program and the Emergency Shelter Grant Program (ESG). The County will not receive any direct funding under the ESG Program. However, it may apply for, and compete for, funding under this program.
