Infraction Deferral Program

SAFETY ALERT: Assume ALL downed power lines are LIVE and dangerous: Stay at least 50 feet away and never touch or approach a downed line or anything in contact with it. As they cannot enter private property, tree debris should be placed in the area closest to, but not in, the roadway. Infraction Deferral Program

The Infraction Deferral Program (IDP) is a program that allows the state to defer moving traffic violations. To qualify, the violator must not have any moving traffic violations within the past year, must be at least 18 years old, must have a valid driver’s license, and there cannot be an accident involved with the ticket. It should also be noted that the IDP program is NOT open to CDL drivers.
